Hired as a wet nurse at Silvermoon Manor, Alice soothes the eldest lord Leo through a violent fit and wins the devotion of the youngest, Edward. The second brother, Lucas, pulls her into the nursery wardrobe and proposes. Then Leo, seized by another fit, follows the scent of her milk to the room. Through the crack, Alice sees the "madman" who attacked her in the woods. His hand closes on the door.
