For three years, plus‑size Heather was baseball star Beckett Hayes’ hidden secret girlfriend. Ashamed to claim her publicly, he denied their romance, faked a relationship with the cheer captain and tampered with her college application to keep her close. Broken and humiliated, she flees overseas and rebuilds into a confident champion. Beckett finally confesses their secret love after losing her. Yet his desperate, late apologies change nothing — Heather will never return to him.
