On her wedding day at Velloran docks, bride Clara is disillusioned when fiancé Derek keeps putting her best friend Vanessa first. He tends to Vanessa’s soaked dress, lets her wear Clara’s wedding ring, and defends her after she ruins the boat decorations. Dismissing Clara’s hurt, he demands she apologize to Vanessa. Firm, Clara sets an eight-minute deadline and texts another man. As Derek counts down to pressure her, a second wedding boat pulls up. A man announces he has come to marry Clara.
