Abandoned at birth by celebrity parents who called her ugly and named her “Runt,” Skye was raised by her grandmother. At 18, top grades get her into PCU and bring her back home, where her parents hide her behind a cap, sunglasses, and mask while Vivi humiliates her. After Vivi pushes her into a pool, Skye leaves. Her singing video goes viral, a director casts her, and a jewelry frame-up exposes the truth. When her parents return, Skye chooses Grandma’s name and her own stage.
