Four year old Lily can hear magical beasts’ inner thoughts. She and her powerless, bumbling dad Ethan hide in the Forbidden Woods. Though Ethan tries hard to be a hero, he constantly needs saving by Lily and her beast allies. They are hunted by bounty hunters and Ethan’s treacherous uncle, who once committed crimes disguised in frilly women’s gowns. Lily commands her beast troop to defeat foes. Villains get humiliating cleaning punishment, and a playful beast kindergarten opens in the forest.
