Demon Lord Asa of the Abyss was imprisoned by the Holy Church for a thousand years. The church plans to sacrifice Saintess Ellie at her wedding, using her sacred blood to burn him. Ellie thinks she will marry Paladin Gale to end the god-demon war, unaware Gale has an affair with her friend Lilith and she is the real offering. Ellie’s sacred blood weakens the seal, and wounded Asa flees into her room, his demon power turning her white veil crimson. Ellie heads to the altar; the ritual begins. Asa reveals his true form and ravages the Holy Court. He forces Gale to choose between Ellie and Lilith, and Gale abandons Ellie without hesitation. Shattered by betrayal, Ellie must decide whether to cling to her false lover or side with her foe, Demon Lord Asa.
