Seven years ago, Victoria, head of a New York conglomerate, lost her three-year-old daughter Grace. She later adopted an orphan named Evelyn and founded a family-reunion foundation. Seven years on, Claire comes forward claiming to be her long-lost child. Victoria confirms through DNA testing that Claire is indeed Grace and brings her home from a neglectful foster family. Terrified of losing her place in the family, Evelyn repeatedly frames Claire. In the end, she abandons Claire in a restricted forest area, revealing her true nature completely.
