Emma, a newly rich heroine, spends a staggering 100 million to buy Ash, a battle-scarred wolf-beast who had suffered severe abuse. Emma mistakenly believes that his role as a “venting tool” means he’s meant to be a human punching bag; not only does she refrain from tormenting him, but she instead treats him like a pet and cares for him with great affection. Later, Emma is fatally attacked by the villainous snake-beast Shawn at a club, but Ash fights back with his life on the line and saves her.
