Alice suspects her cold husband Jason is having an affair with their Alaskan Malamute, Hank. Investigating with her friend Liz, she uncovers an illegal underground crime ring at a pet hospital run by Thompson. After Liz is taken hostage, Alice teams up with federal agents to bust the syndicate, divorces Jason, and starts fresh with Liz and Hank.
