My List

A childhood act of kindness quietly binds a girl to a rebellious outcast. Years later, when her world begins to fall apart, he gently pulls her from the darkness and gives her a place to heal. Together the two broken souls build a warm little sanctuary, their love slowly blooming through the city's long, golden summers. She eventually leaves to chase her dreams, while he stays behind—becoming the soft wind that lifts her higher and the steady harbor waiting for her return. Others complain about the heat, but she only ever loved their endless summer. Will she find her way back to the quiet heart that never stopped waiting?
