Four years ago, Bellamy opened the East Waterfront project to competitive bidding. The winner would receive the lead partnership—and formal standing as one of my fiancé candidates. Every Family wanted the ports, hotels, clubs, and shipping access. None of them wanted the curvy Bellamy heiress attached to the deal. They said a Mafia successor should be tall, cold, and intimidating. I looked like a pampered farm pig waiting for slaughter. Then Reid Kessler bid five million dollars. That same night, his Underboss ripped my gown and Talia poured champagne over my head. I disappeared to Greece. Four years later, I'm back to inherit Bellamy. Before I take my father's chair, I go undercover in Reid's casino as temporary accounts assistant Mia Vale to decide whether Kessler still deserves our alliance. Talia doesn't recognize me. Her first attempt to force me out ends with her carrying the work she tried to use against me.
