Raised by a human "grandma" in a forgotten village, Alia is told she's just a worthless elf. She's the true heir to the Everhart crown. She wins the trials, unmasks the fake heiress and her poisoner mother, then stuns everyone—she refuses the throne to go home to the kids who raised her.
