Billionaire wife Chloe Bennett is enjoying a luxury spa treatment when a mysterious text warns her that a deadly freeze will hit in one week. She immediately spends millions on fuel, food, medicine, generators, and Arctic gear, then turns her husband's mansion into a fortified shelter. Everyone thinks she has lost her mind, and socialite Vanessa Reed humiliates her online. When the deadline passes and the summer heat remains, even Chloe begins to doubt herself. The next day, the city plunges below freezing in ten minutes. The grid fails, windows shatter, and the people who mocked her are left desperate while every ridiculous purchase she made becomes essential. After saving her family and organizing the neighborhood, Chloe learns that the warnings came from her unborn daughter, who died in another timeline and reached back through time to help her mother change their fate.
