A forbidden secret romance between step‑siblings, a cruel game born out of revenge. Beatrice believes she has found secret true love with her stepbrother Maverick, until she overhears his cold truth: he got close to her only to take revenge on her mom, who is his stepmother. Five years of hidden intimacy turn out to be nothing but schemes. Heart‑broken, Beatrice secretly applies for study in London, planning to run away completely in ten days. The shattering of her late father's belongings becomes the final straw. Beatrice leaves a farewell letter and flees abroad. Obsessed, Maverick chases her to London, refusing to accept the breakup and even resorts to abduction. A catastrophic car accident drags Maverick into a vegetative state. Freed from her painful past, Beatrice meets the gentle and reliable Greyson in a foreign land and embarks on a brand‑new life.
