Before his death, Eli, the supervisor of the Conservation Center, sabotaged the illegal plan to smuggle out the panda and exposed the panda to public view. Maya, the keeper, was coerced by unknown assailants into “kidnapping” Mochi the panda live on media broadcast before fleeing the scene by car. As police close in for pursuit, tracker Jack realizes this is no ordinary escape, but a meticulously routed manoeuvre masterminded by hidden forces. The real agenda of the puppet masters is to use the panda as bait to locate Lucy, the former keeper who has long gone missing.
