Bella, the heiress of a wealthy family, is publicly humiliated by her fiancé Eric on the eve of their wedding, who yanks off her heirloom crystal necklace and crushes it underfoot. Furious, she calls off the engagement on the spot and, before the crowd, offers 15% of her family's shares as a stake in a public call for a husband. Felix, the young heir of the Black Gold family, steps forward to answer the call, and the two marry in a whirlwind. After the wedding, Bella cures Felix's rare, incurable illness with her exceptional medical skill. Together, the couple sweeps through the business world and high society, crushing their enemies at every turn. In the end, they achieve triumph in both career and love—a perfect, happy conclusion.
