Ordinary clerk Chen Yang kindly brings meals for his colleague Zhao Kai, only to face endless demands and reverse PUA. Zhao Kai nitpicks the food, then starts asking for seafood, and finally bites the hand that feeds him by spreading slanderous rumors. After Chen Yang cuts his losses decisively, Zhao Kai repeatedly sabotages him at work: altering files, hiding materials and filing anonymous false accusations. As the truth comes to light one by one, Zhao Kai’s misdeeds are exposed and he gets fired. Chen Yang is promoted to supervisor by virtue of his ability, and leads his team to secure a major project.
