Gu Qingqiu, founder of a fresh produce giant, gets advance flood warning. She returns to her hometown with three million in cash to buy crabs at a guaranteed price out of gratitude. Yet the greedy village chief, her great-uncle, and her internet-famous cousin stir up the villagers to turn her down. The flood destroys the crab ponds, plunging the whole village into poverty overnight. Gu Qingqiu watches calmly while quietly backing them up. A year later, the new crab harvest arrives.
