Lu Heng, a post-2000 precision measurement engineer, had his 180,000-year-end bonus fully revoked by new director Gu Changhong for answering a hospital call. Gu’s nephew Zhou Hao took over Lu’s post and tampered with parameters, crashing the whole factory system. As the sole proprietor of Algorithm L, Lu exposed nepotism and corruption in management with backing from Sophia, President of Bosch Asia Pacific. Pressured by Director Liu to hand over the algorithm, Lu resigned and joined Jingxing Intelligent Technology. He upgraded the algorithm to 0.07 micron precision, secured Jingxing’s acquisition of Hengke, and rebuilt a tech-oriented workplace as the new executive.
