Fresh graduate Zhang Chao suffers a devastating start: he loses both parents and is saddled with millions in debt. On the brink of despair, he saves the mermaid Lan Xi and obtains a mysterious spirit pearl that grants him superpowers — underwater clairvoyance and water manipulation. With these abilities, he dominates the deep sea, landing premium lobsters and a giant wild yellow croaker king. Rising from a small inshore fisherman to an ocean fishing tycoon, he outwits crooked merchants step by step. Together with his sworn brothers, he marries top chef Jiang Lan. Eventually, he builds a global ocean fishing empire earning three billion a month and stands at the pinnacle of the blue sea.
