Claire, a wealthy blind heiress, suddenly regains her sight and uncovers her husband Rick’s affair with bodyguard Lena and their baby-switching plot. She pretends to stay blind and plots in secret, teaming up with domestic violence victim Megan to gather evidence and rescue her abducted biological son. Rick sets a fire to fraudulently claim an 80-million insurance payout, only to die in the flames. With a perfect alibi, Claire survives, takes the compensation, turns herself in, and writes the novel *Darkness Reborn* based on her dark experience.
