International billionaire Martha Black finishes a multi-billion dollar merger ahead of schedule and flies her private jet to Antarctica to surprise her daughter Lily, who is on an educational trip. But instead, she finds Lily in a dog kennel, wearing a collar, covered in frostbite, fighting sled dogs for raw meat. The abusers are her husband Alan's mistress Diana and Diana's son Lucas. Diana claims Lily stole Lucas's watch and that Martha damaged station property, so she demands huge compensation.
