Ming Yue survives a car accident in which Li Chuanyan saves her, but her parents die in the flames. Adopted by him, she grows up facing hostility from his girlfriend Pei Yuqing, who treats her as a rival. At first she endures it out of respect, but eventually Ming Yue decides to fight back.
