Claire Harper and Diana Parker ran a small eatery. Claire handled cooking, buying, and operations. In a year, they earned 3 million yuan. Diana claimed she paid all rent and startup, so she gave Claire only a 2,000-yuan gift card, ignoring their bond. Claire swallowed the insult, used the card for gifts, tapped her network, rented the opposite restaurant, and went solo.
